Sports Reconditioning Program

The 1441 S&C Sports Reconditioning Program (SRP) is a coordinated effort between an array of talented individuals in the Advisory & Program Development Board. This has led to the development of one of the most comprehensive and effective programs for injured, rehabbing and post surgery patients available. The goal of the SRP is to provide the most beneficial care (corresponding with proper orthopaedic development and progressions) while creating systems and an environment that will offer a seamless transition from the treatment table, to the physical therapy lab, into the weight room and finally out onto the field. As with all 1441 S&C training systems, a multidisciplinary and team approach is taken to create this structure and atmosphere. As often times noted, a more optimal level of fitness is requested, required and/or prescribed by physicians. This would allow for a better response to treatments and surgery, as well as decreasing the time for recovery from either. The practices and protocols used by the different levels of treatment (Physical Therapists and Strength & Conditioning Specialists) are integrated and developed together in order to accomplish this. The results are well communicated, thoroughly developed and designed protocols which enable our clients and athletes to get back to full speed as it is deemed appropriate and safe, while reducing the reoccurrence and severity of subsequent re-injury.
